Yes, we know. This blog needs to be updated more often. It will, we promise! :)

Here's something courtesy of our friends at Ibiza Voice. All about Roger Sanchez's controversial move from the illustrious Pacha to the terrace of Amnesia. Read about it all here. Enjoy!

Leave Your Cares Behind...

Good times are upon us. Perhaps one of the most recognized acapellas for any dance music aficionado, it finally gets a proper mix courtesy of Toolroom heavyweights Mark Knight and Funkagenda.

An instantly recognizable vocal anthem, "Good Times" evokes a positive vibe wherever it's heard. Rumor has it that it's planned for an April release, so keep a look out!

Here's an audio sample taken from Axwell's set from Nikki Beach. Enjoy!

Cocoon Announces 2009 Ibiza Dates

It's without question one of the biggest, if not the biggest, party on the White Isle. The 2009 season will be extra special as it marks the 10th anniversary of the Cocoon parties at Amnesia.

The complete lineup is below with a few surprises. For one, head honcho Sven Vath will do a few sets on the new Amnesia terrace. There's also not a legendary Sven Vath/Richie Hawtin main room appearance as in years past. Another big surprise are the choices for the terrace as Chicago's DJ Sneak does a guest spot!

I raise my champagne glass and toast the Cocoon crew and wish them a successful 2009 Ibiza season. The craziness continues...

Hot Miami Gossip: Paris Is Burning!

The Miami heat can make anyone crazy, but it doesn't help if you already are. The Miami News Times blog Riptide 2.0 is reporting that during Steve Angello's gig last night at Liv, Paris Hilton took to the DJ booth and started asking for hip hop.

Steve Angello politely refused.

Things got really ugly as one of Hilton's body guards busted into the booth and smacked Angello across the face. Kudos to Angello for fighting back. But even bigger kudos for not taking requests - especially from Paris!

Get Angello's take on the events on his Twitter page.

Big Fat Kick Drum

Felix da Housecat's new single Kick Drum is making the rounds and is getting early support from all the big players. Sweating the track are Benny Benassi, Pete Tong, Erol Alkan and more. A grimy, dirty kick drum pounds away as the sultry sounds of a woman reminds us that a "big fat kick drum, makes you want to get some..."

Should be a biggie for the summer and cause damage in Miami. Look for Felix's new album When He Was King coming in April on Nettwerk. Meow.

Circo Loco Invades Miami WMC

Watch out, Ibiza's famous Circo Loco party will invade U.S. shores on Saturday March 28th! The "loco-ness" takes place on the terrace of Nocturnal on the 28th during the Winter Music Conference. Not to mention the party features a list of the "who's who" of DC10 Ibiza fame, so in other words, it's going to go off big.

The all-star lineup includes familiar Circo Loco jocks such as Luciano, Timo Maas, Clive Henry, Tania Vulcano, Apriar, David Squillace, Andrew Grant as well as special guests Lee Burridge and Tiefschwarz.

It certainly should be an interesting night as New York City's Jonathan Peters will be in the main room. Let's hope the Miami crowd can replicate the crazy, circus-like atmosphere of Ibiza with costumes and the famed DC10 sit and stand!.

According to Steve Angello's Twitter page, Sebastian Ingrosso's cell phone was stolen in Australia during their recent tour. Ouch! Bet Seb's really mad now!
